Tallahassee (2002) -- For anyone
else, this would be considered spare production, but for The
Mountain Goats it sounds like a full-blown production. Which is
actually nice. I like tape decks as much as the next guy, but
sometimes a little clarity and occasional instrumentation helps. "No
Children" is a definite standout, one of the best love songs.
