The Dance (1997) -- This is a live album, so to me it's nothing essential, but it's good for a few listens. It'll make you want to bring out the real records mostly.
The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac (2002) -- Fleetwood Mac had years of being bluesy in the 60s until Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks came along. That period isn't covered here, which is good for those who want the radio hits of the 70s and 80s: two discs worth and too many great songs to list. It's not a perfect collection (it's not sequenced in order and some of the tracks are live instead of studio), but it's about the best collection around for fans of this era. It'll make you realize you like Fleetwood Mac if you're not sure.
