DNS takes it back to the old school (pre-Run DMC through early Beastie Boys) to make raps which at first glance seem like jokes until you realize they're being totally serious.

Suggested First Purchase: We Did It Anyway
We Did It Anyway (1997) -- DNS's first release is a narrative of the two years it took to create this album, with obstacles including not only their record company (The Man) but opposing gang The Dukes. They make this album so old school they even include a track from an early-90's rap group Kool-Aid MC with a Lemonade Spritzer. The raps are often incoherent, but the message gets across anyway. Fun listening. B
