Director of silent movies.
The Phantom of the Opera (1925) -- Pretty good silent movie, given that the book it was based on was problematic to begin with. As you might expect, it just ends with a bunch of people with torches. Lon Chaney does a creepy job, and I'm sure it would have scared me to death in 1925 to see his mask pulled off. B
