Strange Brew (1983) -- Directed with Dave Thomas. Two minutes of the McKenzie brothers saying "hoser" and "eh?" on SCTV is kinda funny, but after two minutes in this movie you just wanna scream, "Shut up!" The characters say and do nothing funny in the movie and, worse, the secondary players and the plot (a cross between Hamlet and Star Wars) takes over and removes any sign of joke. Rambling and messy, in the worst of ways.
