Walking and Talking (1996) -- The name implies the boringness found in the movie, and it's that kind of boringness you find in a not-so-great short story where the author somewhat knows what she's doing so gives you a few little delights, but overall leaves you with nothing much more than that bad feeling in your stomach after certain fiction workshops.
