The Toxic Avenger (1985) -- Directed with Lloyd Kaufman. I don't exactly like this movie, but I have a certain stupid appreciation for it as well as Lloyd Kaufman and his film studio Troma, one of the first to take cheesy, stupid, gross B-movies this seriously... and not seriously. It created its own world (Tromaville, New Jersey) and rules and sticks with them for this movie and all Troma movies beyond. (Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz also direct the sequel, The Toxic Avenger, Part 2.)
