Later period Disney guy.
Beauty and the Beast (1991) -- Co-directed with Gary Trousdale. Not to bad, even though I got sick of it over the years. At the core it's a story condoning bestiality. He's a buffalo! I'll give it credit though. C
The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996) -- Co-directed with Gary Trousdale. The most interesting thing about this movie is the Judge and his not-so-childish come-ons and comments towards Esmarelda (though they should have kept him a priest like the novel). Quasimodo is a little too cute, not ugly enough, and of course we have the now-standard comic annoyances, this time in the form of Jason Alexander the farting gargoyle. But some of the power in the more dramatic moments works well enough, and the computer animated crowd scenes were the first of its kind that I saw. B
