Danielson: A Family Movie (2006) -- A well-made documentary about Daniel Smith, the musician behind The Danielson Famile, a band consisting of Daniel's family (and anyone else who happens along, such as Sufjan Stevens). There is tons of footage from the early years to the present so that it's not just a talking heads documentary. You don't necessarily have to be a fan of the music to watch it, but it might make you want to buy an album or two. This is a good companion piece to The Devil and Daniel Johnston, another indie rocker with an odd connection to the spiritual world.
