Weird Al's buddy who directed UHF.

UHF (1989) -- Weird Al Yankovic does great music parodies and has done some good movie parodies too, as well as parodies of life in general, so it's no wonder that the parodies are the best parts of this movie. When the movie itself (the plot) goes along, however, it's a little dull or just dumb. Al is a lot funnier in shorter forms, or at least when he's not tied to a conventional movie plot. Still, this is worth seeing for any Weird Al fan, and it's certainly enjoyable in fits and starts. (You should also listen to the DVD commentary, which is funnier than the movie.)
