Backbeat (1994) -- Yes, but what about Stu Sutcliffe, the boring member of the original incarnation of The Beatles? No one much cares, and that's what makes this film ultimately not that interesting. It's no wonder that most people say that the John Lennon character steals the show. It's not a bad movie, but not very memorable. C
The Wings of the Dove (1997) -- A good adaptation of the Henry James novel. A great cast and an interesting story that unfolds nicely. B
