The Pursuit of Happyness (2006) -- Will Smith's character was an asshole. Rather than choosing a career he loved, he chose one based on some guy's car. He didn't pay things on time. He was irresponsible concerning his wife and child. He blamed everyone for his faults. In one scene, he ran out in front of a car, then screamed at the guy for making him lose his shoe. He played mind tricks with his kid. Nothing about him was good. Which would be fine, except that the movie wants us to like him and expects us to feel great about his "remarkable story." Whatever.
