Congo (1995) -- Another Jurassic Park (and another Michael Crichton adaptation), this time with killer gorillas. John Patrick Shanley writes the screenplay, and some of his wit and intelligence tries its best to get through, but it gets squashed somewhere along the way. The movie is okay enough to watch while it's on, but it doesn't add up to much. You're expecting a King Kong style finale or something, but you don't really get anything.
