Made mostly junk.
A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987) -- More smart than most horror films, and better (I hear--I've only seen this and the first one) than the rest of the Freddy sequels, this one is just kinda cool (at least for teens or younger), if not scary (it's not). A little magical, oddly. (See Jack Sholder for the predecessor, A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge. See Renny Harlin for the sequel, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master.) C
The Mask (1994) -- Aside from the specially-affected sequences when The Mask is present (which are both fun and annoying), this is a pretty grim movie. In a horrible way. This movie literally gave me stomach aches while watching it, but not from laughter (I don't remember laughing once). There's still a very sexy Cameron Diaz in this movie (her debut, when I fell in love), so watch it for that and that alone. Maybe fast forward to her parts. F
