Noby and Rusty's Wednesday Morning Broadcast Delay ...with Lori! (1994-1996)
In 1994, Noby and Rusty began recording material for what they figured would probably end up on the next Tuesday Afternoon Pre-Recorded collection. However, this work ended up unedited or incomplete. These include “Mr. Wendell” from 1994 and “Johnny Spaceley” and “The Intrudcr” from 1995. What eventually became “Connections” and “Cops” was culled from a much-longer night of restless recording in 1994. In 1996, Noby and Rusty got an apartment together and they shot “Noby and Rusty’s Place,” which was originally intended for a Rusty Spell’s Videoland collection. Finally, in 1996, Noby and Rusty got together with Lori and recorded a tape labelled “Lori’s Debut,” which features “The Nervous Bartender,” “The Quiet House,” “Vikings,” and “The Unhappy Couple,” as well as some home video footage that appears in the opening credits (and in an upcoming collection). All of the above has remained largely unseen until now. Welcome to Wednesday Morning Broadcast Delay. Footage creation: 1994-1996. Blu-ray release date: May 2022. Total running time: 1 hr 5 mins.
